The app does not accurately track brisk walking, which is basically the ONLY thing it's supposed to do. If this issue isn't fixed, I'm uninstalling it. If I take a 20 min brisk walk (SURELY brisk) it only tracks some of the minutes as brisk, which is frustrating :) . Perhaps you could use a step counter and divide by time to get a more accurate measurement rather than relying on position. The brisk minutes are scattered. The phone is in my pocket, where it doesn't move about much, other than the movement of my leg. Other step counting apps work fine.
Great idea, poor implementation. On some days it just doesn't record anything at all. No idea why. Using Lenovo P2, verified that the phone allows Active 10 to run in the background. P.S. Seems to get better after Sep 20 update
Very simple and easy to use. Doesn't suffer from the fault that other "health apps" do and is not affected by being in the car. A widget and notifications when goals are achieved would be a good addition.
I am not sure how to use it and would like to as I like walking
On a longer walk it records brisk walking well for the first 12 minutes or so After that it only seems to record every other minute, it doesn't even acknowledge that I'm walking - like I'm taking a rest every minute which is rubbish. Consequently a good chunk of effort is being ignored. Update, brisk walk for 30 mins, recorded 7. Rubbish, demotivating buggy trash. Uninstalling.
This is too poor to use effectively. I have had one day when it recorded zero activity and many other days when it only records a part. I have been out for a 40 minute non-stop walk and it only recorded 16 minutes (9 active minutes). Will now uninstall this pice of excrement.
- Improved accuracy of activity tracking
- Improved battery consumption
- Enabled back button to close the app
