Some people say level 12 is easy?! I must be really bad at chess cause I can't get past level 4. This is one of the best chess apps I gave played. Started out playing ChessMaster back in the 80s, and was able to beat it on much higher levels. Seriously considering paying for the ad-free version, and this would make the third Android app I have purchased since I got my first smart phone. Thanks for a great app, one that I plan to keep.
I am totally addicted to this app. It's wonderful and defeating the CPU is extremely challenging. Unless a player has sufficient knowledge about openings, it is very difficult to defeat CPU beyond level 4. Great app, great AI, superb graphics and insanely addictive. My game has improved subsequently, so have my calculations. Review game is an excellent option which lets me see the game step by step. Keep up the good work! 😇
I play this every morning after waking up just to get my mind working. Need to say, its a fabulous game already and the application is flawless. It has many modes/difficulty levels, chess board designs. Moreover you can play with your pals, save the games, have bets, timers etc. To summarize, it's a wonderfully made app.
I haven't tried out many chess games on GooglePlay but this has to be by the far the best I've played. You can play it offline and it's very easy to understand. I love how I can play with my friends or challenge myself with a computer that has vairous levels of difficulty. I am a beginner for sure and the CPU is definitely the best human and machine component I've played. However, I have actually learned alot from playing this game and it's very addictive. Five stars for me!
Just starting out I have just begun playing chess & this app is great & very small (11MB) so doesn't take up much space on my phone. It has a tutuor to help you with moves, but I turned that option off ofter the first day & have been winning & sometimes losing along the way. A few ads here & there but you can't complain as it's free. I have no one to play chess with, so this app is perfect for me.
1. threatened squares: Displays the status of each piece on the board. A red square means that the piece is under attack and not sufficiently defended, or that it is being attacked by a piece of lesser value. This is usually a pretty serious danger signal and means you must take active measures to avoid losing a piece. Yellow means that the piece is under attack, but it is just sufficiently defended. You must be careful about removing any defending piece. Green means the piece has enemy contact but is well defended. Usually it is okay to remove a defending piece.
- Book greatly improved after new fix.
