Always loved chess, never really learned how to play properly I'm trying to use this as a learning tool to become at least proficient. I plan to play two games a day against the lowest difficulty. Should I lose, I play the next game just using "Analyze move". In this way I plan to learn from the computer itself. When I am able to beat the computer for a week straight I plan to up the difficulty and repeat the process. Thanks for making such a feature rich game.
Bluetooth I agree that this is the best chess app on the play store but it would be better if we could play 2player with bluetooth also
Joy of Chess Excellent! Graphics, game play, options and stats are all well designed. I really enjoy this great ancient game using high tech.
The best! There's only one way to this application to improve and it would be being able to play multiplayer, using Google Play Game's system or even bluetooth.
Pretty good Fits most people, but I hate the 2player mode. I don't like the rotation, because I like to use my phone as a chessboard, that way is more fun in my opinion.
Jonno Easy to use, no crashes. Ads can be annoying, but it is a free app after all
- For Google Play Games users: Old Google cloud save system (soon to be disconnected) replaced by new Google Play Save Games system (which uses Google Drive)
