Classic card game although some of the rules regarding points are ridiculous. You can easily adjust some of these rules to your liking. Love the ability to choose partners, although they always seem to have the most trumps, while you're stuck with a crappy hand. Good thing I'm a good player.
The latest update has all the players partners going nil all the time. 3,4,5 times in a row some hold very high spades also. A time or several I went nil only to have my partner go nil as well. What kind of smart AI is that? It's no fun to play anymore because of this.
Why can't I communicate with the other's player's. Not fair if only they can communicate and I can't respond, Also why can't I choose an avatar for myself....What profile photo do they see me as The game is okay but a little boring at time cannot communicate with the other players. Like just saying good game on wrong move.. spades is a smack down talk smack game . Also maybe add more options like passing trump with your partner ..just need to be a little more excitement to the game. ..making suggest to new players something I love the new added bubble but why is it I can can't respond to the comments or at least acknowledge them
Before the upgrades. It was great. Now it seems the other players always win. It's kind of discouraging. It would be better,,if both sides won games regularly!!
Best version of Spades Love the ability to play with 2 jokers and 2s high. Only thing missing is the ability to clean up all cards once you can win the rest and a bid of 10 giving you 200 points.
I like the fact the ads are not intrusive. I rated it based on you're not playing with real humans and so the competitive element is skewed. It's hard writing a game where you can make it humanlike. With that being said, if you're highly competitive then this may not be the game for you. Your "partner" will throw you under the bus. If I bet Nil or 1 chances are my hand is pretty low. My partner will bid Nil only to watch him throw aces and face cards out, taking a trick! At times he'll bid Nil with several high cards. Then if your opponent bids Nil, I'll throw say a 2clubs out there trying to get the opponent take the trick and my partner will slam down a face card and take it. The very next hand he'll throw out a 4! It's obvious the game knows what's in your hand because your opponents know what cards to throw out and how many to either flush you or beat you up. I've done experiments with the Undo feature so I feel this is a little skewed. The scoring is confusing because my team will be punished while the opponents will not for doing the exact same thing! I've payed extra close attention to the scoring and concluded either I'm confused how it works or it has favorites (and it's not me). I play the game because ads are not bossy and I do win a fair amount of times. I've found Rob to be the one partner who won't throw you under the bus as often, but he will do it.
