This application will use the calendar on your phone to find events that are set to 'Busy'. During those events, your phone will automatically be set to silent so that your phone will not interrupt you during those all important meetings.
You can set the phone to turn to silent at a pre-determined time before and after the meeting is scheduled as well as setting how often you want the device to check for new events.
For events that the user is invited to, the user MUST set it to attending. Any other option will not mute the device. This is to stop the phone from being wrongly muted when the user is not attending an event.
If there are synced calendars that the user does not own (e.g. another person's calendar synced via Google), those events will be ignored. If the user is invited to it, there will be an event in the users calendar (assuming they have it synced on the device), so they won't be missed.
As I believe in security, the source code has been open sourced and can be viewed at https://github.com/gigaSproule/silent-meeting.
****How to Use****
1. Open up the application and make sure active is on
2. Make sure your events are set to 'Busy' if you want your phone to be silent and 'Available' if you don't
3. Make sure the events you are invited to are set to 'Attending' if you want your phone to be silent and any other option if you don't
4. Change the settings for when to silence before and after events as well as when to check for new events (by default this will happen once a day).
