About this app

Out & About provides listings of camping meets and temporary holiday sites run by members of the Camping and Caravanning Club which are ideal for short or long stays and often in or close to scenic locations.

In this app, you’ll find information on low-cost camping destinations across the UK, exclusively for members. Our events are classified as either Club Meets or Temporary Holiday Sites; the app also highlights our Featured Events, as featured in the Camping & Caravanning magazine.

Please note that the app is only accessible to members of the Camping and Caravanning Club and you will require your website login details in order to unlock the app. Please could all members also note that membership cards, including your partner’s card, must be shown to the Steward on Temporary Holiday Sites and Meets.

Ratings and reviews

Easier than the mag, but room for improvement. Cannot sort the meets, allowing that by date or distance would be good. Cannot flag meets I am interested in, would be useful to then be able to filter or sort on Flagged meets. (In the mag I can do that with a pen!) Cannot copy from the details page, eg to message the contact. Please Allow copy or embed contact details as a link.

Excellent app. Provides all the necessary information required for a camping adventure with like minded camping members.

I've used this app for years without problems, so someone had to update it & now it's almost unusable. Well done. 2/4/2023 when the app is refreshed, rallies & ths's that have already started are not shown. There's no way to determine if they have been cancelled without phoning the organisers. This problem is on my tablet as well as my wife's phone, is there a fix for this?
