Actions in app very buggy. Hive have given the programming job to their newest school recruit obviously. Sort it out Hive. Response to Hive response: No I do not want to waste my time on live chat or twitter. Having reinstalled app problem still present. In 'actions' section when save a time it changes after being saved to a completely different time. The problem is that the person who programmed this part of the code didnt check it was actually working. Nothing more for me to do or say other than the code needs fixed.
I'm really getting quite frustrated with my Hive products, specifically lights and motion sensors. I configure actions to switch lights on for 30 seconds when motion is detected. It will work perfectly for a couple of hours then they'll detect motion and come on but not go back off after 30 seconds. They just stay on permanently until i switch them off manually, disable, then re-enable the action that's assigned to them. They so expensive to buy the products you'd expect things to work seamlessly. Disappointed
This app works fine on my i-pad , but freezes on my Samsung phone. You've updated the app several times and yet this problem still persists . Stop messing about and get it sorted !!!!
Actions now working, thanks for fixing... however, i set my outdoor lights to come on at sunset, but why can I only keep them on for a max of 6hrs? Please add additional hours and grant us flexibility to choose max duration. Thanks
The app is buggy. It doesn't handle itself properly when backgrounded so that it freezes when you next resume. When you report this issue, the standard response is to waste your time via reinstall, relogin and/or clearing cache. Disappointed in the product.
After having had endless issues about a year ago when we first installed our Hive products, the following 6 months worked well until about a month ago when everything keeps going offline 3 times a day, the app constantly tries to refresh and doesn't actually make the changes required and the actions just don't work and can't even be set up, so, no, not impressed or recommending!
