The boost function no longer functions. It's the middle of summer so I have the program set to off in the app. Normally however if I want the heating on briefly for eg to dry a shirt I push boost and the heating comes on. Now I just get a flashing light on the boiler received and nothing else. I have checked up on this and it says it's down to multiple boiler on off requests which I haven't been doing. I have waited between 5 and 30 minutes between trying again. Well over the 1 minute safety lock out and still no joy! What has happened to what was a great app
Yay! A new logo! Just what I always wanted! How about making substantial changes that actually improve the App and its User Interface (which is terrible). Back button in app should go back, rather than exiting. It takes too many clicks to do something. Also, while heating widgets are good, what is really needed is light switch widgets. What would be great is if British Gas would open up the API for third party apps that have a better user interface.
Getting there but still that hideously childish bouncing animation on the console screen. Please get rid of that, or at least give us the option to switch it off. It makes me feel seasick!
Oh woop de doo. You have a new logo. How about fixing the constant refresh that effectively covers the entire screen and makes this app 100% useless. Used to be good. Now total rubbish. If I hadn't spent so much on the kit I'd bin it and change to Nest.
This App has got progressively worse with each update. The Holiday mode is highly unreliable. I set up holiday mode two days before leaving and it just cancelled itself. After resetting it, it worked, but instead of returning to Schedule, it set heating to manual and hot water to off. This would have been most inconvenient in the winter. Fortunately, I checked before returning home and set them both back to Schedule. It used to work fine, now it's worse.
Generally a good app, it has the odd bug, like pausing in the refresh screen. It would be nice to have a more complete set of widgets... Being able to turn specific functions on and off without needing to dig through the app would be a huge plus.. For example... Motion sensors... You leave the house and just tap a widget.
Your app has been updated as we have an exciting new logo
