This app is OK but a word of warning, only use this app using WI-FI and not mobile data. Believe me if you use mobile data connection it will suck your credit dry. I was on this app for 20 seconds and charged £1.50 before I realised and swapped to WI-FI which is free. Beware!!!!!
Wow! What an improvement! The overhaul made the app easier to use, faster and has a much nicer aesthetic. Works well. OLD REVIEW: Really terrible app. Its slow, and never loads, its buggy, and fails to refresh. Needs a major update to fix all the issues!
This app is pointless if you use with the 4G WiFi device. It's incompatible with my Google tablets and trying to complete my account setup on a phone never goes past step 2. At least the old app worked with my tablets and I had no account issue.
Very limited functionality and the app defaults to the webpage too often for things like top up. Does not accept Amex cards - I don't care what merchant provider you use, it's not an excuse. Needs to integrate with Android pay for top-up. Having a NFC payments app but not using Android pay for top-up shows that no customer-centric thought has been given.
Want my review back to 5 stars EE? Well here's how. When you update the app, make sure it will recognise my password! I am sick and tired of thinking up new passwords for the EE site. Only happens with EE, does not happen with any other site, app or device, so not me forgetting it. Also, if you are going to offer me an early upgrade, make sure it is an upgrade and not an attempt to rip me off, I find that insulting. Unfortunately I am stuck with EE till the 5th of March 2018.
1. Keep getting texts telling me I'm out of data; know I'm not so go to the app which tells me I need to top up now but on the same page it shows that I still have a lot of data left. 2. App is unreliable; tells me its broken much of the time. 3. Topped up, it told me the top up had failed, topped up again then it charged me for both. 4. Seems like it's using cynical tactics to extract money from me.
