Glassboxx cuts through all digital content ‘authentication’ issues, consolidating your eBook AND audiobook purchases made through affiliated stores, within an eminently user-friendly, secure environment.

No password required – simply log in with the email address used to buy the book and enter the verification code sent to your email – and your content awaits in the ‘My Books’ area of the app, with formats clearly labelled. With the content in the cloud, downloading requires an initial internet connection, but once downloaded, your books can be enjoyed to your heart’s content in the remotest, furthest-flung corners of the earth, where internet penetration is a mere pipe-dream…

THE AUDIO-PLAYER WILL:

• Auto-save your current position in the book – so that you can pick up right where you left off, even if listening on different devices
• Allow for skip forward/backward to recap where relevant

about the least user-friendly platform for document dissemination and sharing that I have ever used. You have to be connected to the internet because they have to send you a verification code. You can't read documents on a laptop, it has to be on a phone or tablet. You can't save them to another platform and look out them later, you can't share or collaborate with the information and you can't make marginal notes, highlight content, red line, or do anything else that is useful.

If you click on a link that takes you to a different page, there is no way to go back to the original page. There's a "back button" but it exits the book completely and takes you to your list of books. This makes the expensive reference book that I bought nearly unusable. Technical support confirmed "this feature isn't currently available."

I recently purchased the Revise SQE books. The only ereader through which they're available is this app. Pros: The text from the physical copy appear on the screen? Cons: 1. Very difficult to highlight. Makes studying difficult 2. progress, highights, bookmarks DO NOT sync across devices. It doesn't even open on the same page. The Glassboxx app lacks the basic ereader functionality that makes it near totally useless. You're almost better off reading from a stone tablet.
