Very cool concept, but still has kinks to work on. I made a shortcut to show work emails (Nine app) and personal emails (Inbox app). The shortcut works 80% of the time. It once seemed to have frozen the Android UI and I had to reboot the phone (Nexus 6P).
Cool idea -buggy on Pixel phone Love the idea of this but on the Pixel phone it takes me back to the Accessibility settings a lot even though it already has permissions. Also, doesn't work with the DirecTV Now app which is the ideal app for this so you can watch TV and also work on another app. Needs a lot of work.
Simple and efficient Does exactly what it says. Not a hyper-polished UI, but I managed to setup in... 3 seconds. The greatest thing is that you can create multiple shortcuts, to be used as you need. Great job!
It's a good app but where it could really shine is as an automation to ol. It's a great idea and something I've been looking for since Nougat came out. I think this app would be way more useful as an automation tool than as a manual shortcut launcher though. I think a good way to make this all super versatile and useful is to make each shortcut an "activity" that can be launched or acted upon by apps like Trigger and Tasker.
Been looking for this on a non Galaxy phone... But it's not quite as robust as the apps that do the same thing on galaxy phones. It's hit or miss if the shortcut works. Looks promising though... looking forward to updates! (Moto Z Force)
Awesome! Fantastic idea! The are some apps I use split screen a lot, this has saved a lot of repetitive bother! Thanks so much! Nexus 6p....
Now a Tasker plug in!!! Also you can add one shortcut to Quick Settings
