Needs to tell us how many carriages each train has so when they cut 4 coaches off we can decide to get a different one. The 'Wake Me Up' function doesn't take account of the live train progress and thus wakes you up at the wrong time when the train is inevitably delayed.
STILL has annoying messages that take up screen space and anything more complicated then 1 journey that's running on time it struggles. But if you just use it for train times for commuting it's easier than using a website.
The data feeds are extremely useful as are the notifications of disruption. But the user interface is not great and (I hope now fixed) frequent app crashes were a pain. I hope also that the app code is better written than the poor English grammar and spelling in the What's New section above.
The latest update has broken it! When I try to fill in a start point or a destination, it just says "sorry no stations found" thus rendering it completely useless. Plus it started sending me updates to trains when I haven't activated that nor filled in "home" or favourites. Someone better fix this now.
"Fix's a bug which made the app use high amounts of battery usage on curtain handsets." "FIX'S" ??? "USE HIGH AMOUNTS OF BATTERY USAGE" "CURTAIN HANDSETS" ??? If your spelling and grammar/punctuation is this poor, no wonder your App code is fraught with errors also. Good old #NotworkFail. 🙄
"Fix's"? "Curtain handsets"? And customers crashing while plugged into the mains? Who wouldn't?! I hope the fixes are better than the write-up. The app will merit 4 stars if "Unfortunately, National Rail has stopped" messages have ceased.
- Fix's a bug where some customers experience crashes when using the App while plugged into the mains
- Fix's a bug which made the app use high amounts of battery usage on curtain handsets.
