The National Rail Smartcard Manager app allows you to view and load your Season Tickets, as well as activate your Flexi Season passes using your mobile device and smartcard.

The app doesn't remember your card details so you can only check your passes when you have the smartcard to hand and you need to rescan every time. Also tedious that the train company have taken this functionality off their app, so I now need two different apps and to have my smartcard on me, where before I only needed one and it remembered my smartcard.

Finally a smartcard app that works correctly, every time, without problems. Note to dev: on certain phones, transitions are twice as fast, and can cause the app to crash. If you can avoid it, don't use transitions as a timeframe for actions as it will cause issues when Android 12 is released.

It just works. Easily lets you check which tickets loaded to your smartcard, and it even loaded my newly purchased season ticket instead of me having to trudge down to my little regional station and pray that the validator is working properly today. A breath of fresh air to have such a simple, useful app
