Early days as just had my NextBase dashcam fitted recently, but the app seems to provide video downloads from the camera ok. However, experienced problems resetting the password with the app, then finding I couldn't connect to the dashcam at all. Solution was to forget the NextBase wifi on phone, reset the dashcam, and reinstall from scratch. Don't know if this was a problem with the app, the dashcam or interface between them, but all quite stressful for someone with limited tech savvy!

Thanks for your feedback! We're sorry to hear you experienced connectivity issues after the password reset. This is because the saved Wi-Fi is still trying to connect with the default password and may need a reset then with the new password. Wish I read the reviews before I purchased. I have connection issues and after downloading the manual (380GWX) I used the troubleshooting instructions but to no avail, it connects sometimes but moreover it disconnects so to me this is unreliable. In this age, you want reliability. It would be great if the Cam Viewer app support team would keep people up to date with fixes or even comment, especially those who are having issues. Fingers crossed for improvements going forward!!!!

Had trouble with it at first but it works now. Make sure your mobile data is turned off, turn on the Wifi and connect to the dashcam, then load up the Cam Viewer app. Doing these things out of order like loading the app first or leaving data on always seems to make it play up for me. Obviously I wish the transfer speeds when downloading a video was quicker but not much you can really do about that, it's just annoying when you want to download multiple videos but that will be rare.
