Love Clean Streets enables you to report environmental issues, such as fly-tipping, dog mess or potholes, quickly and directly to your local authority in a four step process, for free.

1) See a problem
2) Open the Love Clean Streets app
3) Take a picture, your location is automatically detected and displays the authorities colours if they’re in the Love Clean Streets Family
4) Enter some basic information and post the report – in seconds!

Your report is then sent directly to the relevant authority to deal with. You will be kept informed of the progress of your report via the app and email.

Ratings and reviews

Easy to report if you are at the location of, say, a blocked drain, but not so easy if you want to report when you get home, eg if it's raining. The main problem is that there is NO feedback loop to tell the reporter that the job has been done. I used to think that when you got an email saying "report completed" it meant a job had been done - it doesn't! It just means it's been passed to the LA. There should be a proper feedback loop via the app to tell the reporter that the job has been done.

I’ve raised a report but the problem has subsequently been dealt with, possibly indirectly, in a way that was unrelated to my report. Therefore my report is no longer relevant and I’d like the ability to close it. Or to update the report if the flytipping has been added to etc. I'm also currently sitting with loads of open reports because the specific council department who dealt with them hasn't closed them - eg flytipping are good at closing them but dog mess or highways teams don't.

This App is the best thing since sliced bread! Please use it and report flytipping, filthy streets and other environmental issues. The Council is fantastic at coming to clean up very quickly. A big thank you to whoever came up with this brilliant innovation!

What's new

- Description can now be optional on selected categories - defined by the receiving council.
- Reports can quickly be re-raised and amended once closed if not actioned.
