About this app

Love Clean Streets enables you to report environmental issues, such as fly-tipping, dog mess or potholes, quickly and directly to your local authority in a four step process, for free.

1) See a problem
2) Open the Love Clean Streets app
3) Take a picture, your location is automatically detected and displays the authorities colours if they’re in the Love Clean Streets Family
4) Enter some basic information and post the report – in seconds!

Your report is then sent directly to the relevant authority to deal with. You will be kept informed of the progress of your report via the app and email.

Easy to report if you are at the location of, say, a blocked drain, but not so easy if you want to report when you get home, eg if it's raining. The main problem is that there is NO feedback loop to tell the reporter that the job has been done. I used to think that when you got an email saying "report completed" it meant a job had been done - it doesn't! It just means it's been passed to the LA. There should be a proper feedback loop via the app to tell the reporter that the job has been done.

There is a full feedback loop, reports marked as completed should be completed, reports marked closed that may not be actioned you will see the reason why in the app. If this is not the case please contact support@lovecleanstreets.com

I would 5*, but it's started freezing on the report page and/or losing the report on progress if I flip to the image viewer to read car number plates (the built in image viewer can't handle high resolution images). When frozen, the image thumbnails change the photo, but the photo doesn't go full screen and the category selector doesn't work, and you can't dismiss, save, or submit it.

Nice idea but in practice app is too clunky and actually makes liasing with Council more difficult. Basically, they don't respond to a report or do so very slowly or ineffectively. Too difficult to find locations when starting a report when you are not at that location. What's needed is ability to search for locations using what3words.

There is a search facility, albeit not with W3W. You are able to review the service you have received from your council by opening your closed report, giving a rating there and leaving any comments.
