Parent A few teething problems with payments at first.. Simple to use, keeps you up to date with everything at school. Logs paid for clubs, trips, lunches and i can report an absence easily all on one app. Great for parents whose child generally forgets stuff or loses paper work.
parentmail had problems using the payment method ..went to school to pay in cash. and clubs which change every term were not offered and they told me they cant change it ...app was showing old clubs and old prices ...went to school that child wanted to join club ...so they put him on the waiting list...for next time...actually only good for receiving messages from school!!! also cant click on any link in the messages have to open schools website myself and find the right information !!!!! and phone sometimes freezes
Most of the time the notifications don't work. When they do work you click on it and nothing happens. It also logs you out every time you close the app, so there's no point in having the pin number. Useless app really, I get more emails telling me I have ParentMail rather than the app telling me. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7, 9ne of the newest phones around, it should work perfectly but doesn't!
Many bugs. Log-in problems and I can't archive emails easily. A multiple select option would make things much easier. I can't empty the archive. I can't delete or archive forms either. It's a great idea but annoying to use. Much room for improvement I feel!
Not bad, and delivers up to half an hour or more quicker than email, but irritating that the notifications don't link back to the app, so when you tap on them nothing happens. Thanks for the reply; any news on the update? Also, how does one search past messages, no obvious option?
Mostly OK. Status bar notifications seem pointless as they never open the App, but not the end of the world. Mostly annoyed with the forms or meetings - once you have submitted them they seem to lose the information you entered so you can't refer back to check what you entered.
