Good app but frustratingly short of some of the main site functionality such as sending/reading secure messages. Some other functions do not appear to work, such as deleting payees for standing orders etc., which is equally frustrating and questions the overall testing/development of the app. Notwithstanding it's a handy tool for what it can do.
I get an issue when i type a second word after a space when making a payment to a new person. The characters overwrite themselves only showing one character in the field. This happens on all fields which makes it very difficult to input accurate payment information. Otherwise would be 5 stars
Haven't had any issues until today. The app has always worked perfectly and was very handly especially when needing to transfer money quickly. Unfortunately something seems to have gone wrong. It's like the touch screen doesnt work but its only on that app. Doesnt fill me with confidence about moving money if i dont know if its going to work or not!
There is a bug where if you are running any apps that have the 'display over other apps' enabled then the Santander app doesn't register taps properly so you can't interact with the interface. Examples are apps that lower the brightness/colour of the screen at night, so I can't use the app when the sun goes down...
When making a payment, list of 'existing payees' takes FOREVER to load, it's excruciating to get to who you want to pay. Quick fix suggestion: can you please show existing payees in REVERSE order of date-added? - 2017 update- I wrote this 2 years ago and it's still unfixed! Very disappointed
Not bad overall. Every time I make a payment and amend the reference it throws an error when I ok the OTP, although it actually does change the reference. I have to cancel out and start the transaction again to compete the payment. Two stars as been an issue for a while with no fix, and typically of these vast multinationals no easy way to report issues back to Santander. Edit: can't put more than about 6 characters in payee reference field. Have to use a browser to do this. Makes the app of limited use
