For all of us, on the occasions we use cash, there is no longer a need to accumulate coins as a result. We think coins can be inconvenient, and difficult to use. With Shrap you can use your phone or Shrap card to collect your change - which you can store, spend, or transfer to your bank account.

For businesses, Shrap provides a way to give change digitally when a customer makes a cash purchase. This reduces the cost of maintaining a float of coins, helping ensure that cash remains a viable payment method for us all, for the foreseeable future.

Change that customers collect on Shrap can be spent back with those businesses, with no fees. This means shops can receive electronic payment for small purchases without having to pay any bank charges.
