The last refuge of freeish speech and rational thought in uk. We must look after it. Also full of fun and arts reviews and chess at the back. All reasonable people should have a subscription to the spectator. You don't have to agree with every word. Cherish public debate.

The latest update is abysmal and has wrecked an app which was working perfectly. The faults in the app are far too numerous to mention and now the only way I can read the magazine is online using a browser. Are you trying to drive customers away from the digital source in an effort to boost print sales? Soon be time to cancel my subscription.

The app worked perfectly fine before the recent update, and now is barely usable. Why can't it keep track of which page I was last reading, and give me the option to continue from there, rather than insisting I'd only finished up to page three? Why does it constantly jump between pages when I try to go to the next article? Why does everything take forever to load? Was this update tested at all? You know what we do at my company when our code isn't ready to release? We don't release it!
