Needs improvement. The app needs a revamp and customers that have booked without a credit card on account should be reminded they need to have the cash available. Also the law in regards to the driver having any change available. (If passenger don't have the right cash the driver isn't legally obliged to return the remaining balance). Bonus points for card on account. I.e. regular customers with card on account will receive an incentive for being a regular customer. Customers with no card on account should be reminded evrytim
Total garbage now Can't add any credit card anymore since update. Tried several, just get a generic unhelpful error message. Didn't realise the app had failed so ended up with a driver wanting cash instead, and of course I didn't have any on me. Won't use Amber Cars anymore because of this terrible non-functionning app, will stick with Uber from now on SOZ!
Times not accurate The app its self is good but amber cars tend to say 2 minutes until pickup but turns up alot later. It seems like they constantly mislead you on booking times. I have been late for work three times due to this now,they need to ensure the app is up to date.
Newest version doesn't work I've used the app for a long time however I had to clear my phone ladt week. I've just tried to install the newest version and it won't get by the opening splash screen. A real shame as I can't get a taxi now without it!
I'm going back to Uber Got a call saying the driver was outside, no one there, rang him & her gone to the wrong address. Made me late! This is the first & last time I bother with amber.
The app shows wrong time and I have been charged waiting time before I even get into the taxi although their app said that will arrive in 2 min. Also the driver was driving me around Leeds without even knowing where he was going although I had a spesific destination. So the app allows drivers to cheat their clients. And lastly the after sale service is rubbish. I have been waiting a week to sort out my extra charges and I am still waiting plus I had to send the complaint email twice. Shame as me and my husband were using it daily to go to work.
