I use the Telegraph app every day, it is easier to read than all the paper bits. It allows me to skip through the contents picking out the articles of interest. There are a couple of minor bugs (hopefully they will be sorted soon): 1) occasionally the app gets stuck preparing the edition, contents sometimes look ok but can't drill down and read anything - last Sunday for example - so have to look at other news sources or at paper version, 2) it is frustrating when reading an article and the app clears the screen and goes back to preparing the edition again. I would prefer it not to instantly open today's edition as I often want to catch up on previous day's articles. Otherwise a very good app. The puzzles are brilliant.
Love the app. It's so convenient being able to read the newspaper everywhere whilst on the go. Also love doing the sudoku on the digital version - in fact I now prefer it to the paper version! Another point is that it's very practical being able to access the Telegraph whilst abroad. Keep up the excellent work!
Good improvements made to the App in the last year. For me the only way to read the DT without unread papers piling up. Download already there by the time Galaxy Note 4 turned on at 6.50am. Very easy to navigate & read on the N4. Perhaps could benefit from personal preferences like Flipboard. Deserves better than a 3 star rating.
The app's not bad, though there are still bugs which should be sorted. The main issue for me is that the app and its data takes up 1.1GB of precious space on my tablet and it cannot be moved to the (installed) SD card. This needs to be addressed urgently IMHO otherwise I will have to uninstall the app.
I enjoy downloading the new edition before I get up, checking out key sections of interest to me. Then throughout the day I dip into articles of interest. Using the tablet is so much easier than the printed version of any paper, especially s the DT is still a broadsheet. Go on, give it a try.
Android users beware. Official feedback from the support team is that the app does not work well with Intel powered deviced - their terminology to describe my experience of it not working at all! As I have said on previous reviews, the app is pretty good when it does run, but is useless if it doesn't. Will cancel subsription as it is a complete waste of money, but I will have no idea as to when it will be resolved
