simple and easy. app does have an option to stop interrupting calls and text during the timer if you want to. automatically turn back on after the timer stops. I set mine for 2 minutes. No ads. Free. If I had to suggest an improvement I would suggest a louder option. only because there is a lot of vibration and noise where I work. I have been doing my meditation at work because it drastically improves my productivity. I have an extra 40 minutes of productivity every 3 hours afterwards.

I really want to be able to say I simply love this app. I do love how simple it is, how it doesn't add extra distractions when I sit down to meditate. It's just a timer. However, it has a bug that really compromises its usefulness. Every so often, the timer doesn't go off. I eventually open my eyes to find a message saying that the app was unable to set the gong volume. This only happens occasionally, but it's often enough that I can't trust the app as a reliable timer.

Basically perfect, it's minimal (ideal for trance states), functional, and allows turning on do not disturb automatically. My only gripe is that I can't use my own audio file. I often get so lost in my chanting (which is fairly low pitched) that I cannot hear the built-in gong over the mantra permeating my being. I prefer higher pitched singing bowls/bells to cut through the trance. If I could set my own sound file for the gong, this would a a no-brainer 5 start app.
