Tesco mobile are awful. No one can call me because it goes straight to answerphone even though I have signal. Awful customer service. Two different managers said they'd call me back and neither didn't. Been with tesco about 8 months and had nothing, but hassle. Can't even get my balance. Joke of a service
OK, so it isn't perfect, sometimes it has "server problems"?? But most of the time it does what it is designed to do and it gives me all the info I need. You can change tariffs and reward options and even top up via the app so it works fine for me most of the time. When it fails, just try later..
I cannot understand when I have been topping up my phone on this app that I do not get reward points, but if I top up in store I do. If that is the case what is the use of this app? It also recognises my number when I top up, but when I go to the shop the number is not on their system yet I watched Faith( checkout assistant at Tesco superstore on the A406 type it in,and faith has helped me when I have had problems with my phone). Yet when I called customer care they did not recognise my phone, even when I was calling them on it. Frankly we are talking a piddling amount of points but it is the principle. When you text them( they must have a lot of annoyed customers!) U have to wait 24 hours for a response!!!!!!
If I don't have a bundle, I can't see what I'm being charged for? I have a £10 top up which I want to use just time to time, but if I want to see where my money sent it tells me to buy a bundle...
Others mobile probiders have usage activities but tesco PAYG app doesn't give items usage I.e calls and texts and data usage charges.
It does not show you your usage of funding ir help you see what drives your consumption / usage it is merely a way to make you sugn up to bundles tou dont need more tranoarency and a usage meyer kver time would be far fairer but if vourse would not meet your narketing snd sales needd
