Very cool approximation of the "official" Fibonacci clock. I've shown it to several friends and the reaction has ranged from "awesome" to "I don't get it", which is understandable. My only complaint is that it's not quite complicated enough - the "official" clock randomizes the sequence of each number, but this app does the same representation each time (har!). For example, 6 could be rendered the 3, the 2 and the top 1; or 3, 2, bottom 1; or 5 and top 1; or 5 and bottom 1, but this app shows it as the 5 and the bottom 1 in every instance. Still a great value being as it's free :-)
Not a bad app. Although it looks like it rounds the minutes value after the divide by 5 instead of just dropping the fractional part and just grabbing the integer portion (9:44, 9:45, and 9:46, have the same display value or 9:9, instead of 9:44 being 9:8) I agree with Tim van Stratum that the rounded corners take away from the fact that the value of the square is actually the length of the side of that square. Examine the squares, you'll see it's the length of sides that are the Fibonacci sequence. The squares were not arbitrarily assigned those values. It would have been a better app (IMHO) if the corners were not rounded, and also if I could have used it as my screen saver, or added to my screen saver like a notification or replacement for the screen saver clock.
Flawed Doesn't update properly. Been stuck on 6:00 for nearly 45 mins now. Fix that and you get 5 stars because at the moment it's useless.
Round corners? Nice app. But if the idea of the clock is to add up the length of the sides of the squares you shouldn't make the corners round : -)
Great but It is a great widget. I love it. But HOW DO YOU MAKE IT YOUR LOCK SCREEN CLOCK IN ANDROID??????????? THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!
Disappointed I've just installed this and all I'm getting are grey squares. Uninstalled and put back on phone has made no difference. :-(
