Simple UO, unless you want to access older content It's Monday and I would like to finish reading yesterday's content. Apparently I can't. I'm not sure why this would be missing from the app. Presumably if I go onto the website I can access it from there......? An odd and frustrating omission.
Why is there no widget? I've been trying to put a widget on my home screen but alas it seems The Times hasn't been able to join the likes of the FT or any other major newspaper. So frustrating that i have to go and find The Times icon launch the entire application rather than be able to consume the latest headlines via a widget. I give it an extra star because of its quality content. I will remove a star if a widget isn't in place by the end of the year.
Technical problems "Unfortunately The Times has stopped". I have few gripes with the app's content and lay out. But it is very unstable and keeps crashing which drives me mad.
Problems with the app 1) Unlike the superior FT app, you can't access previous articles easily which authors have written. 2 ) You can't move between the Times and Sunday Times at all.
Brilliant App Great journalism Got to to love this app , it works perfectly, just wish there was more foreign news and less junk supplements that never get read.
Ok Much better than before. BUT - data usage is now MASSIVE. I've just read today's edition and it took 20mb straightaway and 50 by the time I finished reading. How?? This means you need "Netguard", and be careful to set it up right.
This update includes the following improvements to your Times & Sunday Times app:
- My articles are now ordered showing your latest saved articles first
- Performance improvements
- Crash fixes
