Good app but more should be done to notify Android users of the old app expiring. I have been trying to use the old app for a few days now as I had no idea there was a new one - not until an iPhone user told me that their app informed them of the update.
new app. great! don't disable the old one straight away, at least notify the user that they need to install the new version but allow them to continue to use it in the meantime. luckily the driver I had was nice enough to let me on after explaining this stupid decision. update: got on the bus this morning and had to explain to the driver what this app is as they haven't seen it before and had to explain that the old one is no longer in use in favour of this one. so NOT only did you guys not have a transitional period, you've also not notified/shown your drivers so they know what to expect going forward. great job guys 👏👏👏
1st impressions I'm not impressed. I found it difficult to navigate. Often purchase 2 tickets if my daughter is travelling with me and now it has to be done in 2 transactions taking up more time. Tickets now only valid till 3am rather than 24hrs for same price. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY ANY MORE
To be honest, I prefer the M-Ticket app as you got the full 28 day which you pay for. I depend on the full 672 hours given to go to and from work. This new app does not advise anywhere until after you activate the ticket that you technically have paid for less that what is being advertised and expected. This is not mentioned in the T&C's on the app nor is it mentioned when you first sign up to the app or before you purchase your ticket, which is classed as being miss sold as the expiration time is hidden till after the purchase and activation. I will be told that it to match the physical tickets but sorry you activate a ticket at 4 PM then legally the service is suppose to last the full 28 days upon activation. This is the same for cancelling a contract you get till the same time on the final day of the termination period unless informed prior to confirming to proceed. So until this is changed to match what I am legally paying for I won't be using the app after my present ticket expires. Sorry but advised above I preferred the previous app use for tickets.
Won't accept my debit card as payment. All the details are correct but the app tells me that the card issuer has declined the payment. Bank says it's not showing anything on their end. EDIT: Some drivers are still not accepting valid tickets from this app. Why haven't you informed all your drivers about the tickets available on this app yet?
Your bus drivers are very confused when I see this. Would have been nice to get some warning it was switching over. Asides from that, the actual app seems to to its job well and the ticket widget is a nice addition.
