My worst nightmare is when my favourite bus company does something similar to first buses. This app is about as useless as their app. All it really has is a journey planner, but it needs to have much more than that. The app doesn't mention how much fairs are and there's no time table for the individual buses. The app should be everything the mobile Version of the website is and more. Hugo is rubbish and I will continue to use the website.
This has good potential. For instance i like the idea of saving home and work and it giving you tge whole journey time. I also like that it gives you more travel options over the live departures online. However it is not user friendly or intuitive to use at all. Why cant I edit home or work destinations easily. Search is not good either. Didnt take a postcode. Aa user experience is so bad i am uninstalling for now.
Hugo is a useful culmination of Trentbarton's existing online live departures tool, and Google's route finding API, into one app. It let's you exactly when your bus will be arriving which can save standing out in the rain, or giving those extra few minutes to get ready for to go. A disadvantage over using the individual Maps app and Trentbarton Live is that it won't show routes by other providers, or train routes, which is understandable. The UI still feels somewhat clunky but easier to use on mobile than Trentbarton Live which is not optimised for viewing from a smartphone.
Will be better if I can load my mango or Robin Hood card on it
Bus times are up to 10 minutes later than on trent Barton live.
Needs live departures and timetable. For the future, you could look into mobile mango so you can have you mango card on your phone to scan on the bus as you get on instead of your mango card
Minor bug fixes
