This app provides tools for ultrasonic audio analysis and recording, intended to use with bat calls. It can display real-time spectrograms from compatible ultrasonic microphones and supports offline inspection of previously recorded sound files, including those downloaded from the web or social media. The interface is optimized for both small and large devices, making efficient use of available screen space. Audio monitoring is available through heterodyning, with support for dual-heterodyne mode. Recordings are stored as industry-standard .wav files with embedded GUANO metadata, ensuring compatibility with other analysis software. Recording can be triggered manually or automatically, with most parameters offering both automatic and manual modes to balance simplicity with full user control. Even very large datasets are handled gracefully using paging, eliminating the memory limitations of mobile devices.
