The app is a key part of the way in which Helpr is changing the social care model to deliver quality care, reducing the hourly cost of care to Local Authorities and private individuals and increasing the pay of carers.
This mobile app allows our care partners to view social care assignments that are posted by Local Authorities or private individuals requiring care services.
Helpr Care Partners can filter the number of assignments based on a number of criteria:
* within a radius from their home, the distance of which they can specify and change depending on the number of assignments available each day
* within the days of the week and the hours that they can work
* fits with the type of care that they are qualified to provide
A GPS facility will record the length of each journey that a carer makes to provide care allowing them to be able to claim such expenses against their tax bills, as well as providing a map showing the location of all care assignments that they have scheduled for a particular day
At each location the application provides information on the required care tasks required as well as notes left on previous visits providing the carer with comprehensive information to ensure that the patient is treated appropriately. ON leaving the carer can add additional notes as necessary.
The application also allows carers to send alerts to care managers and/or whoever is included as an emergency contact should a need arise.
