On the 29th of June 1969, Rádio Juriti AM was officially inaugurated, meeting the great expectations of the people of Paracatu and the region. It was the pioneering spirit of Radio arriving in our city: the first Radio station in the Northwest of Minas Gerais. Little by little, Juriti gained ground. The mission of the management and employees was to create a healthy radio, with lots of entertainment, music, information, evangelization and initiatives for the benefit of the community.

MIGRATION FROM AM TO FM

With the arrival of modulated frequency, Rádio Juriti AM in Paracatu closes another long chapter in its glorious history. However, this is not the end but the beginning of a new battle, the preparation for the culmination: the Digital Era of FM Radio.

On November 7, 2016, at 10 am, the signing ceremony for the migration from AM to FM was held in the Noble Hall of the Palácio do Planalto in Brasília with the presence of the then President of the Republic Michel Temer. Where the contract that signed the migration from AM to FM was sealed.

Transmitting simultaneously on AM and FM radio waves since July 5, 2018, Rádio Juriti de Paracatu officially switched off its transmission on the 870 KHz frequency on December 26, 2018 at 4 pm and started operating exclusively on the 92.5 MHz frequency.

After 49 years on the air with its programming for the entire region through AM, the station's management strictly followed the requirements of the National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL). Now the broadcaster is writing a new chapter, enabling better signal quality for listeners and customers, maintaining the pillars of its programming guided by the mission of bringing joy and information to people with excellence, ethics and innovation.

On February 22, 2019, at 7:30 pm, there was a meeting at the Paracatu City Council for the official inauguration ceremony of Rádio Única FM – 92.5, where the station's directors and authorities were present.
