About this app

UNdata is a free data visualization app that gives users portable access to a compilation of key statistical indicators organised into 4 sections; general information, economic indicators, social indicators, environmental and infrastructure indicators for 30 geographical regions and over 200 countries and areas of the world. With a simple and easy to use interface, this app enables users to quickly find each profile.

The indicators have been collected from more than 20 international statistical sources compiled regularly by the Statistics Division and the Population Division of the United Nations, the statistical services of the United Nations, specialized agencies and other international organizations and institutions.

This release covers data for the economic, social, environmental and infrastructure sections for three reference years ‐ 2010, 2015 and 2021 ‐ when available or the most recent data previous to these years, back to 2000. The indicators in the profiles cover the following topics: communication, crime, development assistance, education, energy, environment, finance, gender, health, international tourism, labour market, national accounts, population and migration, price and production indices and science and technology.

Please provide any feedback and suggestions regarding this statistical product, as well as the utility of the data, by contacting statistics@un.org

The app shows intresting data. But the app isn't really user friendly and feels cheap. But with a few interface updates and a better structure i see real potential

A lot of data... but for some of them is really hard to know how to read them - for example, if you chose Economic indicators for Germany, you find "GDP per capita" is 20,0... 36,1... 231,6 U$ for the year 2010, 2015, 2021 respectively. What that means? (the real gdp for 2021 is around 50 000 U$).
