# Description

If you're looking for a graphing calculator app that works smoothly and seamlessly, you've found it! Graphing Calculator by Mathlab is a scientific graphing calculator integrated with algebra and is an indispensable mathematical tool for students in elementary school to those in college or graduate school, or just anyone who needs more than what a basic calculator offers. It is designed to replace bulky and costly handheld graphing calculators and works on virtually any Android phone or tablet.

Furthermore, Graphing Calculator by Mathlab displays calculations as it performs them on the high-quality display of the Android device, making it easier for the user to understand the calculations and see them clearly. This app has two great strengths. First, it acts as a fine scientific calculator, but, more than that, it displays the intermediate steps of the calculations as you type. It allows the students to both watch and learn how the calculations are made and how to find the final answer. Second, the graphing ability is absolutely stunning! Not only does the calculator beautifully display the graphs, but it automatically generates the x- and y- values and displays them as well.

Mathlab Calculator <3 This calculator is a big help for me for my assignments and projects though it needs internet connection to solve the problem. :/ Can you add the summation sign please?

METHLAB CALCULATOR /: Clearly these developers didn't think the name out well -- or at all. While i do love the extremely simplistic, effective, versatile and dare i say: beautiful layout and interface of this application, the free version won't work offline. Therefore i will be uninstalling it as i need my apps such as this to work without network connection should they be needed in an emergency, in remote, isolated locales or in a grid down situation. i do recommend this app for students or employees needing these tools.

Dennis Hooper

Great app. This is a really great app especially for the price. Although there is one thing that I would appreciate is on the regular calculator, there is no button to push in order to get the solution to a problem which is sometimes necessary when working with more abstract mathematics. And although it works great sometimes I need to pull out my scientific calculator for things like scientific notation and other specific things.

M. Knol Simnitt

Can't use it offline, but good otherwise. Favorite free calculator app. Officially obsletes my color graphing ti.

Papa Smurf

Tight A great help on homework or math problems you just don't get. One day ill be able to afford PRO which i tried on a buddies phone..great app!

The description the the free version states that the free version requires the Internet connection. The PRO version works offline and free from advertising. Sorry, we cannot work for free. You may buy a PRO version to support our hard work to develop the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=us.mathlab.android.calc.edu Mathlab Apps, LLC February 25, 2015

The app shows the intermediate results as you type. Observe the intermediate results that are steps of solution of the problem. The app shows the final result when you've completed to enter the formula.
To set up the scientific notation, look at the Chapter 7.2 Calc Settings of the User Manual: http://help.mathlab.us/72-calc.html Mathlab Apps, LLC February 26, 2015

Do you mean x in power of y? Look at the chapter "2.2 Powers and Exponents" of the User Manual: http://help.mathlab.us/22-exponents.html The key x^n is in second row: http://s12.postimg.org/60kpk2tt9/Power_2.png Most likely you need parentheses if results look wrong. Send us examples to calc@mathlab.us. Amazing flexibility and power This is a fine piece of software that is both powerful and elegant. The equation and graph plotting features are quite flexible and very well implemented -- more so than apps that cost 3 times as much. I find it unfortunate that people are complaining it isn't free when it costs just so little. Great job devs!

I like it I've been using this app for a few years now; I like it enough that I've redownloaded it onto a couple of new phones. Sometimes I get a bit frustrated with it because certain functions aren't as readily accessible as the are on handheld calculators. But all in all its one of the best graphing calculators available on the Play Store.

Mathlab Apps, LLC March 1, 2015

Just in case if it might help you to use the app more easily, here is the video (8 min) how to use the app: www.youtube.com/watch?v=doIYR6hUCpg The User Manual online: http://help.mathlab.us The PDF of the User Manual to read it offline: http://help.mathlab.us/uploads/1/4/4/1/14418664/graphing_calculator_by_mathlab.pdf Not up to the mark, but it does the job. Would have been better if more than 1 function could be plotted on the same graph (and their point of intersection could be obtained, etc)

Mathlab Apps, LLC February 24, 2015

To plot many functions on the same screen: (1) type first function, then press "enter", (2) type another function on the next row, then press "enter" etc. Select checkbox next to the function to show intersections.
Look at screenshots: http://s16.postimg.org/5oye2ax3p/set_graph_1.png and screenshots: http://s3.postimg.org/eejq2env7/set_graph_2.png Mathlab Apps, LLC February 11, 2015

Sorry, we cannot work for free because we don't have sponsors. Math Lame I understand that the app needs to make money but it does that by selling ad space and charging for the ad free version. Not allowing the free version to be usable offline is ridiculous. That feature has nothing to do with revenue. It just makes the free version un appealing. It's a deal breaker for sure.

Mathlab Apps, LLC February 18, 2015

Not allowing the free version to be usable offline provides incentive for people to buy the pro-version, we cannot make a living by making everything free. The pro-version costs cheaper than a cup of coffee from the Starbucks, so the pro version has a fairly reasonable price. Awesome! Bought the full version within 5 minutes. This is the best calculator app out there. However, is it possible to do matrix operations like a TI-36X Pro? If not, is it a possibility for a future update?

Mathlab Apps, LLC February 22, 2015

Look at the Chapter 5 of the User Manual: http://help.mathlab.us If you need additional functions to work with matrices, please send us the list of them. The video(8min) shows how to use the app: www.youtube.com/watch?v=doIYR6hUCpg Here is the PDF of the User Manual: http://help.mathlab.us/uploads/1/4/4/1/14418664/graphing_calculator_by_mathlab.pdf Mathlab Graphing Calculator Works really good! Took me about a day to figure out I had to change radius to degrees to make the tan and sin and cos to work, but other than that, works great! Very useful

Mathlab Apps, LLC February 19, 2015

Use Settings to switch degree/radians: http://s2.postimg.org/hvpmpx98p/Settings.png The video (8 min) shows how to use the app: www.youtube.com/watch?v=doIYR6hUCpg Here is the User Manual online: http://help.mathlab.us The PDF of the User Manual to read it offline: http://help.mathlab.us/uploads/1/4/4/1/14418664/graphing_calculator_by_mathlab.pdf Great app Great calculator for my reintroduction to Calculus after about 20 years. While it doesn't do the entire problem and enter the answer for me, it does almost everything else. (p.s. the second sentence is a joke. The calculator is outstanding. I was just joking that to do more, it would have to read the problem before answering it and writing that answer down on my paper for me)

Mathlab Apps, LLC February 22, 2015

If you share with us the examples of your entire problems, we would like to implement their solutions to simplify your way to do calculations. Our email is calc@mathlab.us # What's New

2D scatter plots, enter coordinates in square brackets [0 1 2 3], select checkbox to show linear regression.

Wabbitemu, like all emulators, requires a ROM image. Wabbitemu includes an easy to use setup wizard that will help you create a ROM image for your TI.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How do I bring up the menu?

You can bring up the menu by swiping from the left edge of the screen, or pressing the menu key (if your device has one).

2. How do I disable vibration when I tap on a button?

Open the menu and click on settings. Under the 'Skin' category unselect 'Vibrate on keypress'

3. How do I load apps like PlySmlt2 or Inequalz?

To load any file to your calculator you need to first download it to your SD card or internal storage on your device. You can find the official TI applications for the 84 Plus (non color) available here: http://education.ti.com/en/us/software/search/ti-84-plus-family-ti-83-plus-family#view=math-apps. Once you have downloaded the app to your device open Wabbitemu. Swipe from the left edeg of the screen to bring up the menu, and select 'Load file'. Find the file you just downloaded in the list and select it. The file will be sent to your calculator. Apps for the 83+ and 84+ calcs will end in *.8xk. Apps for the 84+CSE will end in *.8ck or *.8xk.

4. I'm missing fraction options when I press Alpha+F1! How do I get these fraction options?

Fraction options (and the rest of the Alpha+FN menus) are only available on OS 2.55 MP. Wabbitemu allows you to download both 2.43 and 2.55 MP. ## Free Graphing Calculator

Free Graphing Calculator

Does far more than most of the paid calculators out there . . . let alone the free ones.

Features:

1) Scientific Calculator. Simple to grasp and easy to use, but powerful features are available when you need them. Available functions include the following:

• the usual arithmetic functions and exponentiation.

• square root, cube root, nth root, natural log, log base 10, log of arbitrary base, absolute value, factorial, permutations (nPr), combinations (nCr), modulus, random integer, bell curve, cumulative normal distribution, decimal to fraction.

2) Graphing. Capabilities:

• Graph up to four equations at once.

• Graphs are labeled.

• You can drag the graph or pinch to zoom in or out.

• Calculator can find roots and intersections.

• Graph in polar coordinates.

• Graph parametric equations

3) A unit converter. With a tap, you can enter the result of your conversion into the calculator. Currently converts different units of the following: acceleration, angle, area, density, distance, energy, force, mass, power, pressure, speed, temperature, time, and volume. Great for doing physics homework!

4) Constants for scientific calculations -- speed of light, strength of gravity at Earth's surface, etc. etc. etc. Tapping on a constant will insert it into your calculation -- i.e, you don't have to key in the value. Again, great for doing physics homework!

5) It can make a table of the values of any function you care to enter. You can choose the starting x value of the table, as well as how much x increases for each successive row.

6) Forgot the quadratic formula? Or the double-angle formulas for sine and cosine? The math/science reference hits the high points of various subjects. Currently includes algebra, differential and integral calculus, geometry, trigonometry, vectors, vector calculus, and classical mechanics.

I'd love to hear your comments or suggestions. You can write me at the email address in the app. Thanks!

100 ÷ 500% = 20

Tax calculation:

500 Tax+= 525

525 Tax-= 500

Parentheses:

( 1 + 2 ) × ( 3 + 4 ) = 21

( 1 + 2 ) ( 3 + 4 ) ( 5 + 6 ) = 231

Grouping separator and decimal point:

123,456,789.1 + 0.02 = 123,456,789.12

123.456.789,1 + 0,02 = 123.456.789,12

## Graphing Calculator MathlabPRO
