Apart from the cumbersome signup process, this app is designed in a way that all but guarantees you'll be wasting money. It charges $20 and deducts parking from that balance. As a result, most people are going to end up paying $20 for maybe $5 worth of street parking. If you actually manage to use exactly $20, it'll charge you again. So, either you have money left on the card, or you don't and they recharge. In both cases, you've overpaid for parking. Their competitors, like Parkmobile, simply charge you for the time your in a space--the digital equivalent of putting coins in the meter.
Can't figure out how to use it for EV charging. Need instructions or a help file. Which charging networks does it work with? I have tried the 3 major networks and none of the charging stations had instructions for using MobileNow.
Had to buy $20 worth for one time use. Should have just gotten quarters. SAD!
The fees in some areas like Silver Spring, MD metro are ridiculous. But Bethesda metro parking is free? Never parking there again. I'd rather buy the app for $5 then get charged $1.60 every time I park. Are you kidding me?! Hahaha No thanks.
Dont install. Always carry one or two rolls of quarters and u will be fine.
Does what it is supposed to.
