Kill Switch: application level Kill Switch is always on for Ultrasurf VPN 2.2.9 or later. In case Ultrasurf VPN connection is lost, no internet connection will be available to avoid potential leaks, unless the user manually switch off Ultrasurf VPN. If Ultrasurf VPN is "killed" or the Android system VPN is turn off, internet connection will resume. To prevent that, for Android 7 or later, you can enable system level kill switch by going to Settings -> Connections -> VPN -> Ultrasurf settings (gear) -> turn on both Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN.

This update is the worst that I've ever used. The connection speed is becoming slower than previous. And also what the hell with startup screen? Why did you guys add it? It's very much unnecessary and it's kind of a bit ugly. And also it takes some more time for app to launch. How did you guys get an idea? Anyway, Ultrasurf was one of the best VPNs that I have ever used even when it's connection speed is slower compared to others. Now, it's becoming rubbish more and more. Sorry to say that.

This had been a very reliable VPN. Not particularly the fastest however reliable. Since the most recent update, the connection is on and off from behind the great firewall. Connection is fast but extremely unstable. I was hoping for more, as some of the games I play will only connect to the internet when I use this VPN. I'm constantly switching between a much more stable VPN that for reasons unknown to me won't connect to game servers. I hope you can rectify the problem.

been using it since 2013 and I knew it was coming someday (ads and subscription).... and well, after a long 10 years they're finally here. 😅 I know it's okay, you also have right to earn money. As long as the vpn connection stays strong reliable. 🙌
