About this app

Pixel Text is an SMS/MMS messaging application designed for Pixel users in China. It continues the native Android experience and Material You design, making everyday text messages cleaner and easier to read.

It can be used as the default messaging app, supporting basic SMS sending and receiving, conversation management, and SMS notification operations. It also provides local intelligent parsing for common service SMS messages. Verification codes, bank transactions, train tickets, express deliveries, flight information, etc., are presented in a more intuitive card format, helping you quickly find the truly important content.

Pixel Text prioritizes privacy and a localized experience. SMS parsing and categorization are done on the device as much as possible, without relying on cloud analysis, uploading personal SMS messages for content parsing, or including advertisements and irrelevant statistics.

Pixel Text aims to address the shortcomings of Pixel phones in domestic SMS usage scenarios: maintaining simplicity, cleanliness, and local processing, while making important SMS messages easier to see.

Ratings and reviews

A simple, elegant and feature-complete SMS app. compare to other choices I tried before which are either huge (Google Messages consumes almost half a gig!), or feels outdated/uses their own design system, it is the clear winner.

What’s new

## 新增
- 新增“通知快捷操作”设置页，可自定义通知里的按钮顺序和文案，支持拖拽排序。
- 搜索页新增联系人筛选。
- 新增 Smartspacer 未读短信分类统计设置，可分别控制是否把普通短信、骚扰短信和归档短信计入未读数量。
- 新增会话详情页短信样本上报快捷入口，长按单条短信后可直接带入正文和发件人。

## 修复
- 修复会话详情页标题只显示电话号码的问题。
- 修复 Smartspacer 未读数量在归档、取消归档、手动标记骚扰短信、历史骚扰识别等场景下不能及时刷新的问题。

## 优化
- 优化搜索页体验：空白状态改为插图展示，搜索无结果也会显示专属插图，提示位置上移后更不容易被软键盘遮挡。
- 优化会话列表、归档会话列表和骚扰与拦截列表的空状态展示，统一改为插图加文案的居中布局。
- 优化样本脱敏能力，新增日期、时间、日期时间的格式保留脱敏，并在金额或时间格式无法识别时给出明确提示。
- 优化 Smartspacer 使用体验，在设置的“高级功能”中新增手动刷新入口，便于主动触发未读数量和快捷卡片重算。
