The process and list of authorities needing to notify the incident based on Article 13, Chapter 3 of Decision 12/2021 promulgating Regulations on oil spill response activities are programmed and automatically selected to find The authorities with the ability to respond are closest to the place where the incident occurred.
Not only that, to prevent incidents that may occur in the future, it is extremely necessary to check and review the capacity of facilities to respond to oil and chemical spills. Inspection and inspection of establishments operating in the province are still lacking, or statistics are only on paper through annual reports of establishments sent to the province's Department of Natural Resources and Environment, making it difficult to prevent risks. The risk of lack of equipment and supplies to handle incidents at facilities containing large amounts of oil and chemicals is always present. The province's search and rescue team can assess the response capacity of facilities in the province and promptly mobilize forces when necessary.
