Ambulance Mobile Application The app is developed with funding from Advatech Health Private Limited and can be used by any ambulance or mobile health service provider independently by paying a license fee. The app essentially uses location tracking of the users and ambulances to connect them together. The key advantages of using the app are the ability of a user to locate the nearby ambulances, find out about availability (immediate or planned pick up), check on board facilities with staff (ALS, BLS etc) and calculate the overall cost from pick up to drop up off at their preferred location. As the information supplied by the users will include healthcare and financial transactions, it will be protected effectively using 128 bit encryption technology. The storage of information will comply with the Data Protection laws in the relevant country where the app user is based. The advantages of using the app will be the ability of the user to have 24 hour access to local ambulance services. For the ambulance provider the advantages will be the efficient use of the their services, avoiding repetitive phone calls or queries about their facilities. The information is easily displayed on the app in three simple steps through the app or any web browser. 1. Guest user or registered login (personal and financial data stored). The ambulance requirements are selected ie immediate, facilities, pick up and drop off location etc. Location finder can be activated automatically using the app or by manually entering a location to search around (including distance in km/miles) 2. Pick from the available ambulance services fulfilling the requirements and make additional requests if possible with the relevant ambulance service eg staff, equipment etc. Calculation of total cost and click submit if satisfied with the final amount. 3. Messages will be sent to the specific ambulance service who will immediately call the user back to confirm the nature of the call and payment. They will also give the key worker contact number in case there is any problem during that particular pick up. All further messages regarding the ambulance arrival, registration number, driver & staff names etc will be sent to the users mobile device. Such an app will continue to be modified based on user and ambulance service provider feedback.
