I like many of the extras--night reading setting, highlighting, note taking, phrase search. I do not care much for the translation, though. Some of the poetry is lost, and in some instances, the meanings of verses are altered. Compare The Catholic Study Bible by New American Bible's Psalm 9:21 "Strike them with terror, Lord; show the nations they are mere mortals." Versus this app's Psalm 9:21 "O Lord, establish a lawgiver over them, so that the Gentiles may know that they are only men." While the app may follow the Septuagint translation, I prefer OT translations of the Old Hebrew, when possible. The problem with the numbering of the Psalms lies with the use of the Septuagint translation, as well. What is labeled as Psalm 9 with 39 verses in this app is in the Hebrew text as Psalm 9 (21 verses including the background information as "verse 1") and Psalm 10 (18 verses). Therefore the "Lord is My Shepherd" psalm is Psalm 22 in this app (although you will not find here the word "shepherd" in the psalm's translation).
Oh my, I can't say enough good things about this app. So easy to study, and research. I also use the "Read aloud" feature a lot. Thanks for this app!!
A very good app, I love it..... But I can't trace Daniel Chapter 13, the story of Susanna. Kindly direct me where to find it.
