Worst news reading app, and I have 5 of the, when compared to others. No easy way to read comments or monitor reading progress within an article. Updated: The more I use it the more I realize how basic the app is like you can't adjust size of text. Come on, the app degrades the quality of the content. Update2: Terrible, some articles make you log in again. POORLY WRITTEN APP.
The recent update to this app has done what I would have thought was impossible. I will now be reading the New York Times more frequently than the Wall Street Journal. The new program does not allow reading offline. I was told I would need literally to download and to save each article I would like to read offline while I have internet access. For those of us who, for example, take trains that have mediocre and only intermittent wireless access, being able to read the paper off line is a must.
Tolerated the app as being marginally more convenient than the website, but now it insists I don't have an account. I assure you I do, and I can log in through my browser (or read the physical paper delivered daily to my doorstep). I think it's about time to delete this app. Serves no function.
Absolutely the best non-slanted news source I have found. I have tried a dozen news apps and although they might have easy use features (questionable) and be 'pretty' on the screen they all are too politically slanted one way or another. The WSJ covers the world with information rich, detailed reporting and tells all sides of the story. Not instant breaking news that frequently has to be corrected but instead after a brief delay when they seem to be gathering data, REAL, accurate news. Worth every penny, and FYI, have been getting their paper for over 20 years... Last three using this great app.
I like the "most popular" section to see what is capturing peopl's attention. Sometimes the photos don't match the articles. The printed newspaper is still my favorite way of going through the paper even though I am on the "left", a word which the oped uses as a derogatory.
Typical Bias news media that twists sources. Also the app is terrible too. Numerous crashes. Ps: They pay for positive reviews
