Worst ap on my phone, despite good content. Huge memory hog. This ap was taking up 8.5 Gb (yes, GIGAbytes) of storage. Repeated logins required. This ap would require me to login again about once a month. It is annoying to have to look up my username and password repeatedly. Please, fix this! This is an extremely expensive service (over $30/month) for a phone ap. And yet it is the least well behaved ap on my phone. I expect much better. Get with the program, guys, and fix your ap.
This is not a good app. You click on a story, another one comes up. Pictures don't match the stories. When clicking on a story, you are taken to a different section than the one you were reading. I found myself stopping using it, even though I pay for it. It has lately gotten more buggy.
Really love this but but $33 per month is just too much for a college student. I'd enjoy a $5 limited article package or something more affordable. More affordable subscription = More Subscribers... Think about it fellas. Monte Carlo that idea and get back to me.
The app is quite mediocre. Offline reading is very inconsistent, sometimes the article is there, sometimes not. The app crashes constantly. I can't read a day's edition without crashing at least 3-4 times. There is also a serious glitch. After a month of using it the internal storage on my phone was completely used. I investigated and turned out it was WSJ app taking up 4.5GB in files that were not easy to delete! (They're not in the usual user storage). Windows app has other issues but is better than this.
I like the "most popular" section to see what is capturing peopl's attention. Sometimes the photos don't match the articles. The printed newspaper is still my favorite way of going through the paper even though I am on the "left", a word which the oped uses as a derogatory.
I periodically get "content unavailable" message if there is any interruption in WiFi service. The message continues even after wifi is restored and can only be resolved by uninstalling then reinstalling the app. I have to do this roughly a couple times per month.
