Review from Floyd Lawrence
You've screwed it up again WSJ. Everyday I end up logged out and have to log in again since a recent update. Small annoyance, but I pay to be able to read the articles and it really isn't that tough to have the app remember that I'm logged in.
First of all the WSJ is great journalism. The app is pretty polished, intuitive and has a lot of good features. One thing that is quite annoying however is ads remain in the app for those who have a paying subscription to the WSJ. Once ads are removed for their paying customers, this app would be 5 stars for me.
I use the app daily. It crashes a minimum of once usually twice to get through the paper. This is unacceptable. Considering suspending subscription until fixed. Other than that would rate 5 stars.
Trying to do the trial, won't let me log in. When I try to create account it says I already have one. After i request password, it doesn't send anything to me. Now i don't know how to cancel before i get charged. I never even got to read one article!!!
This app has become a bug ridden piece of junk in the past two months. It now hangs or crashes after reading a few articles on both my Nexus 6P and Pixel C. If WSJ can't make it work with Google's clean Android implementation, they need to FIRE their developers.
Love the content but very frustrating to use. It crushes often and doesn't update to show current articles. Articles appear in other sources than they do on this site.
I am not a big reader of the Wall Street journal. I have found it a good read. But I had some problems using the app. I have decided to not to continue with the subscription.
