Zapp is an end-to-end encrypted messenger with a built-in self-custody Zcash wallet. Your keys, your messages, your device. No accounts. No sign-up. No tracking. No ads.
CHAT
End-to-end encrypted messaging over a peer-to-peer network. No phone number or email required: your chat identity is derived directly from your wallet keys. Send photos via the system photo picker, or share your location with a contact on demand, never passively, never in the background. Messages are delivered offline through an encrypted relay that cannot read their contents.
WALLET
Send and receive shielded ZEC using Zcash's Orchard privacy pool. Your recovery phrase is generated and stored only on your device. Zapp never sees it, and neither does anyone else. Biometric app lock and screenshot protection on sensitive screens.
SWAP & OFFRAMP
Swap between ZEC and USDC using cross-chain intents. Cash out to UPI via the peer-to-peer P2P.me protocol on Base (beta — currently available in India). Exchange-rate display is opt-in and fetched privately.
