About this game
HueZoo is a color perception game that challenges the limits of human vision. Two colors appear side by side — one is ever so slightly different. Tap the correct one. Miss once, and that try is gone.
Sounds simple. It gets harder fast.
🎮 THE THRESHOLD
The main game mode. Each round starts with a visible color difference (ΔE 5.0) that shrinks with every correct tap — growing subtler until your eye gives up.
One wrong tap costs a try. Your best ΔE score reflects exactly how sharp your vision is.
Can you reach ΔE 1.0? ΔE 0.5? The boundary where two colors become indistinguishable is different for everyone. HueZoo finds yours.

What is ΔE?
Delta E (ΔE) is the scientific measure of color difference used by designers, printers, and display engineers worldwide. A ΔE of 1.0 is roughly the threshold of human perception under ideal conditions. Most people cannot distinguish colors below ΔE 2.0.
