I wish I could said I've had a good experience with this app but unfortunately for the 2 months I've used it I've ended up spending more than my initial rent rather than saving. By the time the payments process (and I get the actual estimate) I end up with late fees because I don't know how much they're gonna take beforehand so whatever I save is close to but never enough. And I have other bills to take care of within the 5 day processing. So this will definitely be my last month using split.

This app has been a lifesaver for me in keeping my rent payments manageable. However, recently I have had an infinite Google sign in loop problem, but thanks to Google Gemini, I figured out why the Google sign in loop was happening. I was connected to public wifi, and the new Split pay app upgrade would not allow me to sign in on public wifi. When I logged in using the mobile data on my own phone, that's when I was able to login the app, and the upgraded Split Pay site with no issues.

Payments take forever to process, typically 3 to 5 business days if not 1 to 3. But lately for me has been up to 5 to 7 business days. Weekends they do not process anything. However, Landlords are uncertain of when they receive payment. I think that its a good app to help you catch up but really not a great app for speedy payments especially if landlord does not like to wait. What I think is ridiculous, is that they charge a fee but then they dont give you the option to make SPEEDY PAYMENTS.
