App is awesome, works as expected, easy navigation tabs, better loading speed, and great multiple phone numbers management. Suggestions: the loading screen(Telkom on loop) seems depressing though. Maybe it could load to a latest promotion(cached from previous app opening) while it loads on the background(advertising in a neat way) or new animation design.
Why do you have an option to link your account to the app and validate it when it doesn't work? I contacted technical support and they told me I must go to a telkom store to link my account. The details I used to register the app are the account holder details, down to the e-mail used to receive the invoice. Having an app is ment to make managing your account easier, if I have to keep driving to a store to do anything what's the point of the app. Also every time you want to do something you get redirected online and have to re-login but the login details don t work, and there is no option to 'register'. All I want to do is top up my internet. Not happy
Majority of the time theres always an issue when tying to retrieve information like data usage etc. Always an error message "this is embarrassing ..... " Or some sort of error message. The app hardly functions properly. The previous version wasnt greeat at all but atleast it worked more often
With the latest update I can finally open this app via my Telkom home LTE and use it as intended. App is pretty and not that bad overall; it would be great if some features (e.g. balance check,etc.) require less clicks. Also whenever I access screen with incidents I reported to Telkom and select "query" app gives an error and shuts down.This need to be fixed.. All in all rough start for the new app but it seems that Telkom is finally listening and trying to improve.
The app is as useless as the company it represents. Everytime you would like to track progress on your ADSL which has been down since last minth it conveniently says "Telkom has stopped working". Quite ironic because Telkom indeed does not work. Another government ran entity who believe they are above basic service levels.
It does not give you a breakdown of what is day time or night time data.just a balance which is not acceptable. Every time it gives a message saying that I am not connected to wifi or mobile data is not turned on . Checked and the data strenght was good and mobile data was turned on . The service is so bad that I went into two different Telkom shops as wellas the sevice centre and asked the same question but got three differnt answers
Prepaid balances can now be viewed after logging in. (At last!).
