About this app

This App provides Eskom customers with self-service capabilities such as account, billing and meter reading functionality. The MyEskom Customer App is created and officially endorsed by Eskom Holdings SOC Limited.

Eskom customers can:
- View their electricity account/s
- View the following for a selected account
• Account Balance
• Last Bill Details: Billing Date, Payments Received, Adjustments, Monthly Charges
• Account Details: Name, Postal Address, Email
• Premise Details: Premise Description, Premise ID, Service Point ID and Pole Number
• Bill Delivery Method
- Submit Meter Reading linked to your Account
- Submit Meter Reading Remarks in the event you are unable to read your meter
- Request an Update of your Customer Details
- Change Bill Delivery Method to E-mail
- Provides useful links to credit card payment providers
- Submit a Basic Query

1. Prepaid vending is not included. You cannot buy prepaid tokens via this App.

I'm unable to access the app as it keeps saying technical error, now how must I log my meter readings as the email facility no longer works and whomever does estimates does not have the ability to correctly estimate as it's always completely over the top. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've tried opening a new account and have tried to change my password but nothing works. This is very poor service delivery.

Still same on Nov 10 2021!!! Like the majority of people who have written, I deleted and reinstalled the app. Now it tells me incorrect password. When I try to change the password it wants you to start fresh with all your details. Then it says it cannot verify my identity and I must call the contact centre. I did that and after struggling with poor connection, eventually got told they can't do anything but they will escalate via email. E-mail says must reinstall the app and so it goes on....

The user interface is very poor, colours of login screen make it very difficult to read & especially to enter data. The font used is extremely small & there is no facility to see your input when typing which makes it hard for the handicapped user. That's only the login screen, as for rest of the screens the lack of any sensible logic to the information screens is pathetic. Finally, the technical
