I just did Botswana and Namibia and didn't have any major issues, once or twice it said turn left when on the map it was right. I only used tracks4 africa and I liked that it shows fuel stops and accommodation on your route. There us definitely room for improvement on the operating system. I'm still glad I have :)
Great maps of Namibian tracks and incredibly accurate. With my location always shown on the map, I did not need anything more. There is no need for a satnav for driving on tracks, I am out exploring. Would be good if my location would stay centered on the screen but it is an adventure. This app gave me confidence to go off into.the desert on my own. Take at least 2 and preferably 3 mobile devices as they fail all too readily in the heat and the dust. I used in conjunction with Sygic as my satnav and Maverick for recording and planning routes on free maps with terrain and contour lines. You can run them at the same time.
Works like a charm once you figure out all the settings and options available
Terrible Just came back from Botswana. Had the app installed on phone and tablet. On phone, in the mid of bush tried to start to dowload something and the app wouldn't start. On tablet it wanted to verify the account. Of course without internet impossible!. So it left us out without opening on any of those 2 device. What a piece of crap! Luckily I also downloaded offline google maps - some of the parts of Chobe, otherwise it would spoil the trip. DON'T BUY IT!
Worst app ever The idea is great but the app itself is honestly the worst I've ever used.
Software rubbish! If you could only get it to load!!!
