Why? Still why? 7 months and still nothing has changed. Granted, it doesn't take 11 presses of any link to open anything it's more like 3 now. Tv maps is telling me something... just have no idea what. My area is red... guess that means I'm on fire. Or it could be raining. How does an app go from brilliant to digital paperweight?
Final uninstall on 21 July 2016 After second update on 19 July 2016, nothing has improved and none of the bugs have been fixed. Old version worked so much better on my S5. No sharing option anymore and slide-out menu still entirely unresponsive. Only have it installed because it is supported by SA Weather Bureau.
Still poorly done. I am a premium subscriber and the app only allows the free options. Even the add stays there after they promised it would go away if subscribed. The add also blocks the view.
Getting worse with every update Less useful functionality over the years with every update. Live storm maps was the useful tool on the app. We experience extreme weather during storms and being able to see what is happening really helped to minimise storm damage. Time to find one of the better apps out there.
Promising but so poorly coded it's unusable. I liked the new features in theory but the app crashes constantly and most of the sub pages simply will not load most of the time. Even the feedback form on the website throws an error.
Endless Crashes Continuing to crash even after clean installation. Used to work well
Download the latest version of our weather app. We listened to your feedback and have integrated a new widget for your home screen. We have also improved our maps and added new storm tracking features for subscribers. This version currently only covers South African cities**.
You will also notice our name change to Africa Weather from WeatherSA. Due to our popularity we are expanding services and in order to support our growing base we have had to integrate advertising for non- subscribers.
