Samurai Soul has great combat potential, but poor controls ruin the flow—especially in boss fights. The one-button system limits reaction time for dodging or parrying. A landscape mode with separate controls (move, attack, dodge) would help a lot. Bugs are a big issue too—skills often fail while wasting mana, and enemy stance bars bug out where your attacks does not build up their bar, making fights frustrating. Tons of potential, but needs serious fixes.

app seems to be glitching out for me when I go to access the screen for progressing my character and upgrading my weapons and gear it completely freezes up and I have to restart my phone, when I go to try to play the next level of the game my character looks like a blob of random elements of the landscape and background that blocks out any of the enemies I am supposed to be eliminating hopefully y'all can correct the problems in the near future so I can play some more of the game

Combat.. actually better than most console Samurai games I've played, that includes Sekiro. With time and careful management this could stand in the same room with Ghosts of Tsushima and the other legends of the genre. I understand that this game is in it's infancy and that said gives it some huge shoes to fill, however I wouldn't suggest this if it didn't have the potential to live up to that standard.. Definitely a Yes.. 4 Stars is because of the stamina, I hate having to put it down! Lol..
