THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE APP, NOT HOME DEPOT ITSELF. I've consistently had great service at my local Home Depot and am very happy with the store and shopping there for my home project needs. The app needs work though. It has the same look and feel as the website, which I do like, but it is unbelievably slow and lags and freezes every time that I use it. Maybe it needs more bandwidth or more storage at the servers, but the app drives me crazy. I try to avoid using it if I'm anywhere near a computer

The app is so painfully slow. I'm a handyman and am on the app multiple times daily. It takes ages to search, load the cart, view the cart, filter results, everything! Other retail apps, Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc. are able to operate way faster, why can't you? Pull it together man!

This app is so painfully slow even with my S25 Ultra. Terrible. It is helpful to find the exact aisle location of a item in the store and how many they have. Knowing something's in stock before you go is great. If it's not in stock you can find other stores where it is. The price scanner is useful when there's no marked price. Seriously, the speed needs major work. It's frustrating when you're in store. Unfortunately, it's been that way for literally years now. Years. So don't hold your breath.
