it's pretty cash grabby in the sense that there's a lot of very expensive things you can buy, but you don't have to buy them to play the game, getting new aliens takes a month and the challenges are difficult at times, such as some of them requiring specific aliens, even if you don't have them, meaning some challenges just won't be done for the next few months, also, the new guild system is weird and takes way too many points to level up. overall it's okay and there's a lot of content... 7/10

This game's visual design and art style are great. The fun concept and characters were the reason I downloaded it, and the simple rougelite gameplay loop is why I stuck around. HOWEVER, this game is so so so grindy and becomes completely not fun to play around chapter 5. The difficulty spike is outrageous and is obviously aimed at making players spend money to overcome the wall. Pretty infuriating the options of advancement are: Grind for weeks for one level, or pay to win.

Been playing for a couple months now and have been enjoying it. It's extremely easy to navigate. No confusing menus. The artwork and alien designs are gorgeous 👌🍻. Gameplay is smooth and gets challenging as you progress. Non intrusive ads but you can watch for rewards. It's a recurring payment (monthly) of about $11 to remove them. If this was changed to a 1 time payment that permanently removes ads id give it 5 stars. Removing ads makes it an overall better experience. (One click rewards)
